The Story So Far
I’m Valentina, a wedding photographer based in Santa Barbara. I grew up in New Jersey and eventually made my way to the California coast, which I now get to call home.
My background is in design, so I care about how your story is told, not just how each photograph looks. I think about the composition, the colors, the details, and how the images work together. I want the full gallery to bring you back to your day, with each photograph adding something to the story.
Outside of weddings, I love photographing surf and spending time near the water. It’s a part of my life I’m happy to share with you.

A personal connection.
I want your photographs to look beautiful and feel like you. That starts with noticing how you two connect: the teasing, the affection, your particular sense of humor. My work combines candid photographs with directed portraits that have an editorial feel.
You don’t need to know how to pose or feel comfortable in front of a camera. We’ll get to know each other, talk through your plans, and make room for spontaneity. I’ll give you clear direction when you need it and listen to what feels right for you. I’m here to make the photography feel easy, so you can enjoy your day.

My boyfriend, JP, bought a 2008 Lexus with a whole list of issues and spent six months bringing it back to life. There were axles, differentials, and big jobs I couldn’t begin to explain—but I watched how much went into it. When it was finally ready, we headed down Baja for a month. That first drive felt so good. So proud of him, and so happy I got to ride along.
